What do you do when you don’t live with your husband after the wedding?

January 8, 2009

You eat the top of your wedding cake! Surprisingly, it is still really good. I didn’t have a piece the day of.

With moving in the future and me not following other important-so-called-wedding-traditions …. I didn’t do the whole something borrowed, something blue … and I saw Aaron before the wedding in my dress … I decided to eat it with my roommates.

Yum!!

Did you use a saw to cut your cake?

the cake does look a bit brutalized. 🙂 mike and i ate our cake top sometime around our first anniversary. actually we didn’t eat much of it because it didn’t taste very good… mike saw your picture and said “saving the wedding cake? tell her it isn’t as good as they say it will be.” i ended up making him a cake that year because he was so disappointed that the actual wedding cake wasn’t very good. 🙂 and now we make one every anniversary (mike really likes cake…)

That is a cool tradition Lucinda. Aaron doesn’t really like cake, he ate pie at the wedding. We will have to come up with our own tradition.
